Fatherhood changed Hugh Jackman`s life

London, Dec 30: Australian star Hugh Jackman says that being a father has changed his life.

The “Swordfish” actor also said that it was difficult befooling kids as they know your real-self, reports dailymail.co.uk. “Everything is related to the kids now. It`s frightening how in love you are with them. You have those little flashes of them jumping into a road and you stop breathing,” he said. He added: “Everything is exposed with kids. There`s no artifice, because they see you exactly what you are. You can`t pretend. Actors fool people about the kind of person they are. You wear whatever mask you want to put on. But it doesn`t work with kids.” Jackman married his wife Deb, 48, in 1996 and adopted son Oscar in 2000 after she suffered two miscarriages. Their daughter Ava was adopted in 2005. IANS
