Here is the full list of candidates contesting the Lok Sabha election in 2019 from Arani Lok Sabha Constituency of Tamil Nadu.

Arani Lok Sabha Constituency is one of the 39 Lok Sabha Constituencies of Tamil Nadu. The Arani Lok Sabha Constituency (constituency number 12) was created after the implementation of the Presidential Notification of the delimitation of the parliamentary constituencies in 2008. 

Arani registered 77.90 per cent voter turnout in Lok Sabha Election 2019, a gain of 0.72 per cent from 2014. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1724458 while 1343439 came out to exercise their franchise. While in 2014, the constituency registered 77.18 per cent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1564114 while 1207120 voted.

The electors in the Arani Lok Sabha Constituency cast their votes on April 18 in the second phase of 2019 Lok Sabha election. The results would be declared on May 23. 

Elumalai V of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, Sivaprakash K of Bahujan Samaj Party and Vishnuprasad MK of Indian National Congress are some of the top candidates who contested general election 2019 from the Arani Lok Sabha Constituency of Tamil Nadu.

It constitutes of six Vidhan Sabha segments of which one is reserved for the SC category and the constituency currently has over 1,097,000 electors.

V Elumalai of the AIADMK is the incumbent Member of Parliament from the Arani parliamentary constituency.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Elumalai had won from the Arani seat by defeating R Sivanandam of the DMK.
