Munger Lok Sabha Constituency, is one of 40 Lok Sabha constituencies in the eastern state of Bihar and will cast its vote in the 2019 election on April 29.

Kumar Navneet Himanshu of Bahujan Samaj Party, Nilam Devi of Indian National Congress, Rajiv Ranjan Singh of Janata Dal (United), Sanjay Kesari of Shivsena and Santosh Kumar of Bahujan Mukti Party are some of the prominent names that will contest the Lok Sabha election 2019 from Munger Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar.

Voting for Lok Sabha election in Bihar will be held in all the seven phases and counting will be held on May 23.

Munger constituency covers six assembly segments – Munger, Jamalpur, Suryagarha, Lakhisarai, Mokama and Barh.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, Veena Devi of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) – won by getting a margin of over 1 lakh votes. She had defeated Rajiv Ranjan Singh of the Janata Dal (United). Veena Devi had secured 352911 votes while Rajiv Ranjan got 243827 votes.
