Palghar Lok Sabha Constituency, is one of 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in the western state of Maharashtra and cast its vote in the 2019 election on April 29.

Palghar registered 63.72 per cent voter turnout in 2019, a gain of 0.23 per cent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1885297 while the total voter turnout is 1201298. While in 2014, the constituency registered 63.49 per cent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1577837 while the total voter's turnout was 1001708.

Rajendra Dhedya Gavit of Shivsena, Sanjay Laxman Tambda of Bahujan Samaj Party and Baliram Sukur Jadhav of Bahujan Vikas Aaghadi are few prominent candidates contesting general election 2019 from Palghar Lok Sabha Constituency of Maharashtra.

Palghar constituency came into existence following delimitation in 2008. It covers six assembly segments –  Dahanu, Vikramgad, Palghar, Boisar, Nalasopara and Vasai.  Dahanu, Vikramgad, Palghar, Boisar constituencies are reserved for the members of Scheduled Castes.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, Chintaman Vanaga of the Bharatiya Janata Party – won with a huge margin of over 2.39 lakh votes. He had defeated Baliram Jadhav of the Bahujan Vikas Aaghadi. While Vanaga had secured 533201 votes Jadhav got 293681 votes.
