900 Pakistani families displaced during army operation return against terrorists

Over 900 families displaced due to military operations against terrorists in the restive tribal region in northwest Pakistan on Tuesday returned to their homes after nearly two years.

Peshawar: Over 900 families displaced due to military operations against terrorists in the restive tribal region in northwest Pakistan on Tuesday returned to their homes after nearly two years.

A spokesman for Frontier Corps (FC) said the rehablitation of Temporary Displaced Persons (TDPs) of Lower Orakzai agency was carried out.

The families who belonged to Bizote, Utman khel and Feroz khel tribes returned to their homes

The army had launched Zarb-e-Azb in June 2014 to flush out militant bases in northwestern tribal areas.
