Dispur: The counting of votes for the Bodoland Territorial Council is taking place in Assam on Saturday.
The counting began at 8 am in the state`s Kokrajhar, Udalguri, Chirang and Baksa Districts. Around 79 percent polling was reported on Wednesday.
A total of 315 candidates are in fray for the 40 seats.
Meanwhile, security arrangements have been made to ensure a peaceful counting of votes.
