Partly cloudy Tuesday morning in Delhi

New Delhi: It was a partly cloudy Tuesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season`s average, the weather office said.

"Light rains or thunderstorm are likely to occur in some areas towards the evening or night," said an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius, the official said.

According to the weather office, the humidity at 8.30 am was 76 percent.

Monday`s maximum temperature settled at 38.6 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 30.05 degree Celsius, two notches above the season`s average.
