Our govt is stable: Hemant Soren

Amid reports that some Congress leaders were not keen to continue support to the JMM-led ruling coalition, Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday said his government was stable and schemes were being executed speedily.

Ranchi: Amid reports that some Congress leaders were not keen to continue support to the JMM-led ruling coalition, Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday said his government was stable and schemes were being executed speedily.
"My government is stable with programmes and schemes being implemented speedily in the interest of the people. I don`t go by media reports," Soren said here. "The decision on government is not taken on the basis of what comes in the media. Decisions are taken in meetings with allies of the coalition," Soren said. He was reacting to media reports quoting Finance Minister and senior Congress leader Rajendra Prasad Singh saying that he shared the views of some of his PCC leaders that the government should go. The extended Executive Committee meeting of the PCC was held here yesterday and some Congress leaders opined that the party should contest the forthcoming assembly elections on its own. The media today quoted a couple of senior leaders that they desired to pull out of the coalition. Earlier, the RJD had threatened to pull out on the controversial auctioning policy of sand mining. Later, Soren dismissed former minister Chandrasekhar Dubey`s allegations of corruption against the chief minister. Dubey quit Congress and joined Trinamool Congress to contest the Lok Sabha seat from Dhanbad.
