Ronan Keating ``planned funeral`` after cancer scare

Washington, April 20: Ronan Keating was so scared after he discovered a lump on his testicles that he started planning his own funeral.

The Boyzone star, whose mother died of breast cancer, confessed that he was a bundle of nerves following the false cancer scare and had even short-listed the songs to be played during his final ceremony. "It was really scary. I thought I definitely had cancer,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling Britain`s Daily Mail. “The lump felt very different and I knew straight away there was something there. I had written myself off. I had the songs picked for my funeral and everything," he added. The 32-year-old further revealed that despite reassurances from the doctors that the lump was harmless, he was still unable to be at peace during a holiday in South Africa. He added: "I called my GP straight away. He told me it was probably fine but to come and see him when I got back. Being a hypochondriac I feared the worst. We went to the beach, the wine region and on safari, but I worried the whole time. " ANI
