Angry husband abandons wife in return flight from honeymoon in Goa

Patna: Quarrels and arguments are said to be the normal part of a married life. But it was not for this newly-wed couple from Lucknow.

The husband was so infuriated following an argument with his wife, that he quietly left the plane and went missing during a stopover at Patna airport on Thursday. 

Airlines and airport security staff  were in a tizzy after they found out that a passenger has gone missing from the flight. Later it was revealed by the wife that her heated argument with the husband could be a reason behind his disappearance. 

The incident was witnessed in an IndiGo's Goa-Kolkata-Patna-Lucknow-Delhi flight (6E 633) on Thursday. 

According to a report in the Times of India, the couple were travelling in a group of six from Goa to Lucknow when they reportedly had a fight. The husband walked off the aircraft when it was at Patna. 

The matter came to light when the airline staff did a headcount of the passengers before taking off for Lucknow. A hunt was launched to trace the missing passenger was all in vain. The man's mobile phone was also untraceable. 

The reports say that the flight had to take off for Lucknow without the husband .
