New Delhi: The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2015 is to be conducted by Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) for admissions to  B-schools, for their business administration programmes on November 27.

The exam will be divided into three sections, listed below:

Quantitative Aptitude (QA)

Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)

Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC)

QA and VRC will have 34 questions each and DILR will have 32 questions. The test will be held for a duration of 180 minutes. The candidates who qualify the test will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

CAT is the most popular entrance exam for admissions to top MBA institutes. It is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for the admission to the Post-graduate and Fellow Programs in management courses of several management institutes in India including the IIMs. More than 100 B-Schools accept CAT score.

On the basis of CAT percentile score, eligible candidates are short listed and called for a Written Aptitude Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

Eligibility: You must hold a Bachelor’s degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) categories).

If you are appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.
