Chandigarh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to Chandigarh people during his visit, especially shutting of schools, and said a probe will be ordered to fix responsibility.
PM Modi took to social networking website Twitter to express his views.
An inquiry will be held & responsibility will be fixed for the inconvenience caused to the people of Chandigarh.

All schools in Chandigarh remain closed today due to the PM’s visit.
Not only the schools were closed, cremation ground in Sector 25 was converted into a makeshift parking lot, some reports said. The cremation ground was turned into a parking lot for people attending PM's rally.
Vehicular traffic movement was affected in areas near airport, Tribune chowk, Madhya Marg near the PGIMER.
Meanwhile, the Congress has criticised PM Modi saying, the prime minister first makes mistakes and then apologises.
PM Modi today inaugurated a new terminal at Chandigarh airport which will handle both domestic as well as international flights.
Thereafter, Modi addressed students at the 34th convocation of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh.
Later on, Modi also addressed a public meeting and hit out at Congress over deadlock in Parliament, saying 40 MPs are "conspiring" to hamper the country's development against the wishes of 400 MPs which is an "insult" to democracy.
