Jammu: A day after making a controversial remark over the status of Kashmir, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah on Saturday implied that the Indian Army was incapable of defending against terrorists.
“Saari Hindustan ki fauj bhi aa jaye, toh bhi nahi defend kar sakti terrorists aur militants ke khilaaf (even if the entire Indian Army comes to Kashmir, it will not be able to defend against terrorists and militants),” ANI quoted Farooq Abdullah as saying.
The remarks are bound to lead to another controversy.

Yesterday, Farooq Abdullah invited criticism after he said that PoK is in Pakistan and will remain there, while J&K will continue to be part of India.
“PoK will be a part of Pakistan, J&K will be a part of India. It is not something new that I have said,” the National Conference leader said today while defending his remarks.
He further said that the only way to resolve the Kashmir dispute is by talks with Pakistan.
“People-to-people contact is essential. That is how fear is fought,” he said.
