Mumbai: Former STAR CEO Peter Mukherjea, whose wife Indrani Mukherjea was on Tuesday night arrested for the murder of her daughter Sheena Bora in 2012, has expressed shock over the developments.
It only emerged on Wednesday that Sheena was Indrani's daughter; so far it was believed that Sheena was Indrani's sister.
Mikhail Bora – Sheena's brother – today revealed that they were in fact Indrani's children.

Even as police arrived at his residence to question him in the case, Peter told a news channel that he was unaware Mikhail and Sheena were Indrani's children.
“Sheena and Mikhail were introduced to me as Indrani's siblings by Indrani herself,” Peter said, adding he never doubted what Indrani told her.
“I was also told that Sheena was sent to the US for further studies (when she disappeared). I was completely in dark (about the entire matter),” Peter told the channel.
“I was not aware of anything, their conversation used to be in Assamese which I couldn't understand,” he said.

Peter revealed that Sheena was having an affair with his younger son from a previous marriage.
“Indrani did not approve of their relationship,” Peter said.
Indrani Mukherjea was arrested by the Khar Police last night following questioning over her alleged role in the murder of Sheena Bora in 2012.
Maharashtra's Raigad Police had found remains of Bora in a forest following which a murder case was registered against unidentified persons.
Indrani was produced before the Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate court, which remanded her in police custody till August 31.
