PM Modi, who was on his two-day visit to Russia, earlier in the day addressed Afghanistan's Parliament in Kabul.
However, instead of returning to Delhi directly from Kabul, he surprised all when he made a short stoppage at Pakistan and met his counterpart Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Lahore.
