President Mukherjee extends greetings on eve of National Day of Ecuador

New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Ecuador on the eve of their National Day.

In his message to the President of Ecuador, Rafael Vicente Correa Delgado, the President said, "On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the people of Ecuador on the occasion of your National Day.

India and Ecuador have traditionally enjoyed warm and friendly relations. I am confident that your visit to India later this year will contribute to the further strengthening of our bilateral ties and the realisation of the full potential of our cooperation - for the mutual benefit of our two peoples.
