Rajnath hopes to strengthen bilateral relations with Israel

Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday hoped to strengthen the bilateral relations between India and Israel ahead of his meeting with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the evening.

Tel Aviv: Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday hoped to strengthen the bilateral relations between India and Israel ahead of his meeting with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the evening.

"India and Israel share very warm and cordial bilateral relations. We look forward to strengthen it further," Singh said in a tweet. He reached Tel Aviv Wednesday night.

He also wished 'Shalom' to the people of Israel.

"Shall meet the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today (Friday) in the evening," he said.

Rajnath Singh left for Monaco on November 3 to attend an Interpol ministerial meeting and general assembly.

As a part of the tour, the minister is visiting Israel and will also travel to France to discuss security related bilateral issues.
