Sheena Bora murder saga: Indrani's parents being kept away from news?

Guwahati: As an entire nation huffed and puffed over the sordid details spilling out of the sensation Shena Bora murder saga, the victim's grandparents seem to have no iota of information about the entire drama.

Sheena's grandparents and Indrani Mukerjea's parents Upen Bora and Durga Rane, said to be in their seventies, have been deliberately kept away from the news, say reports.

A report in the Bangalore Mirror, quoted a friend of Mikhail Bora, who is guarding the house in shifts.

He said that Sheena's grandparents were purposely not informed about what all happened, and the news and newspapers were kept away from them “in order to hide the truth as they will be devastated,” added the report.

Meanwhile, one of the two nurses taking care of Sheena's grandparents at Guwahati residence, Pramila Medhi, informed that Indrani's mother was bedridden and amnesia.

She added that Indrani's mother was disoriented and could not speak or recognise people, added the Bangalore Mirror report.

Pramila also said that the grandparents are not in the know of the things that have transpired in the wake of Sheena Bora murder case. They don't even know about Indrani's arrest.
