Jamshedpur: Three members of a family were killed over a land dispute at Panchpandav village in Ghatsila subdivision last night, police sources said Monday.
The prime accused Padmawati Pathak and her son?s friend Sagar Kumar Sao were arrested for the killing, Superintendent of Police (Rural) said.
Padmawati?s husband and son were at large, he said.
Ranjan said that Padmawati and four others had allegedly slit the throat of her elder brother Lalmohan Mahakud, his wife Leelawati and 14-year-old son last night.
Lalmohan and Leelawati died on the spot and their son in hospital, he said.
