Mumbai: BJP on Friday alleged that Maharashtra
Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, who today completed one year
in office, has taken the state back by 50 years.
"Chavan, who completed one year as the chief minister of
Maharashtra, has taken the state 50 years back," state BJP
chief Sudhir Mungantiwar said in a statement.
Chavan was given time to understand state politics. But
he has failed even after a year, he said.
"The state government has failed after Chavan took over
the chief minister`s post. He was described as a brilliant
student, but his inability to take decisions has affected the
government," he said.
