Three workers were killed and four injured when a compound wall of an industrial unit collapsed on them in Pune the district, police said.

Pune: Three workers were on Saturday killed and
four injured when a compound wall of an industrial unit
collapsed on them in the district, police said.

Construction work was going on near the compound wall of
an industrial unit in Chakan MIDC area. Due to soil pressure,
the wall collapsed on workers of Mungi Company adjacent to it
killing three of them on the spot and leaving four of them
injured, Inspector of Chakan police station Sushil Kadam said.

Of the four injured workers, who have been hospitalised,
the condition of two is serious, he said.
