3-day national mourning following Arafat's death

New Delhi, Nov 12: India has declared a three-day national mourning following the death of PLA leader Yasser Arafat yesterday.

All flags on government buildings are flying at half-mast
and official functions have been cancelled.

As part of the mourning, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh
cancelled a meeting with the public on the occasion of Diwali
today as also a lunch he was to host for the UPA and Left
leaders.
