BJP to send LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi to Rajya Sabha?

Zee Media Bureau New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to give its veteran leaders LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi a ticket to the Rajya Sabha, sources said on Saturday. According to reports, the crucial decision was taken by senior party members after taking consent of both Advani and Joshi. If the said leaders are being shifted to the Upper House of the Parliament, they will not be able to contest the ensuing General Elections, which will indirectly clear all obstacles in the path of BJP`s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, report said. Party patriarch Advani, who is the Lok Sabha MP from Gandhinagar, Gujarat, is likely to be sent to Rajya Sabha from the state. However, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has not yet given any reaction over this matter.
