New Delhi, Dec 19: CBI today registered two cases
against senior officials of the India Security Press (ISP), a
commandant of Railway Protection Force (RPF) and scamster
Abdul Karim Telgi in connection with "security lapses" at the
Nashik road-based ISP.
The investigating agency registered the two cases after
conducting a preliminary enquiry (PE) into the case following
directions from the Centre.
The cases have been registered against general manager of
ISP Ganga Prakash (now under suspension), some other officials
of the Press and Telgi.
In the second case, a commandant of the RPF and Telgi
have been named for alleged breach of security at the press.
The government had asked the CBI last month to conduct a
thorough enquiry into the India Security Press at Nasik and
ascertain whether some of its employees were involved in the
printing and distribution of fake stamps and stamp papers by
Telgi.
