IMC confers Bharat Gaurav award on Dr Ranawat

US-based renowned orthopaedician Dr Chittaranjan Ranawat, who has performed knee joint replacement surgeries on Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, was conferred with Bharat Gaurav award by the Indian Merchants' Chamber (IMC) in Mumbai on Saturday night.

IMC trustee Pravinchandra Gandhi presented the citation and silver salver to Ranawat.
The expert's team assisting Ranawat including Dr Nandu Laud, Dr Enrique Goytizolo, Dr Satish Gupte, Dr Harish Bhende, Clifton Kea and Lesli Jacobs were also felicitated on the occasion.
Ranawat, the patent holder and design developer in clinical orthopaedic surgery, who has perfected the art of total joint replacement, later delivered a talk on 'in pursuit of excellence'.
