New Delhi, July 04: Sudheendra Kulkarni, who resigned
from all party posts of BJP, tonight rejected the charge by
sections within Sangh Parivar that he was behind L K Advani's
controversial speech on Pakistan founder Mohd Ali Jinnah,
saying whatever
he had done was at the instructions of the party president.

"Whatever I did was under instructions" from Advani,
Kulkarni told reporters here.

He said he had been instructed by Advani, prior to his
visit to Pakistan, for the complete text of Jinnah's August
11, 1947 speech and he carried out the directive.

Kulkarni has been blamed by a section of leaders in BJP
and Sangh Parivar for Advani's Jinnah fiasco and because of
this he had to lose his positions of BJP national secretary,
secretary to the party president and member of
national executive.

Kulkarni also wondered how his paper presented at a
private function in Bhopal and his communication to Advani had
got leaked out. "I don't know who is responsible," he said.

In his Bhopal paper, he had advocated a secular image
makeover for BJP while in his June 24 letter to Advani, he had
accused RSS of "micro-managing" BJP and "remote-controlling"
its leaders.
