Kanpur, Jan 28: A school girl was kidnapped on Wednesday from the city of Kanpur from just near her school.
The ninth standard student from Carmel Convent was abducted by men in a Maruti car which had tinted glasses.
The police have not even got a note of the car’s license number. Some students who
were eyewitnesses to the abduction said that the car sped off quite fast.
Meanwhile, the state police are thoroughly probing the case and are also inquiring the family members and the friends of the fourteen-year-old girl.
However initial investigations have not revealed much so far. Details are still awaited.
