PM condoles death of Annamma Mathew

New Delhi, July 10: Prime Minister Atal Bihari
Vajpayee today condoled the death of noted journalist and
chief editor of Malayalam fortnightly "Vanitha" Annamma Mathew
who passed away earlier in the day at Kottayam.

In a condolence message, Vajpayee said Mathew was a
journalist who espoused socially relevant issues, especially
those related to women.

"Mathew followed the noblest ideals and traditions of
journalism, voicing her concern for the deprived and the
under-privileged", he added.
