Mumbai: The lone surviving Pakistani
terrorist in the 26/11 attack here, Ajmal Kasab, today added a
touch of humour by telling a court that police had fired at
his arm in a typical Bollywood style.

Denying that he was injured in a shoot-out with police at
Girgaum Chowpatty, Kasab told judge M L Tahaliyani "Police ne
mere hath par goli fire ki aur main zakhmi hua (police fired a
bullet on my hand and I was injured)".

Kasab alleged that he was fired at by cops at a police
station, causing bullet injury in his hand.

Asked how did police fire at him, Kasab replied, "they
caught hold of me and raised my hand. Then they fired at my
hand....just as you see in the films".

The judge quipped "I do not see films".

"Lekin main to dekhta hoon" (But I do watch films),"
replied Kasab, wearing a T-shirt and a trouser.

Asked how much distance police had maintained from him at
the time of firing, Kasab replied "mujhe nahin pata kyoon ki
jab fire kiya to main ne doosri taraf dekha tha (I do not know
because when they fired, I turned my face in the other
direction)".
Kasab was answering questions put by the judge on
evidence adduced by the prosecution.
