President greets nation on occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti

New Delhi, Feb 23: President A P J Abdul Kalam today
greeted the nation on the occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti.

In a message, the President hoped that the life of
sacrifice and dedication of the saint will guide the citizens
in further strengthening brotherhood and mutual understanding
and motivating them to share their joys and happiness with the
needy.

"Guru Ravidas, a great saint and social reformer, fought
against inequality and injustice and worked for the
establishment of a society based on equality, compassion and
justice," Kalam said.
