Two accused in Madhavpura scam remanded to CBI custody

Ahmedabad, June 12: A local court today remanded two persons, arrested from Mumbai in connection with the multi-crore Madhavpura Mercantile Cooperative Bank Scam, to CBI custody till June 17.

Ahmedabad, June 12: A local court today remanded two persons, arrested from Mumbai in connection with the multi-crore Madhavpura Mercantile Cooperative Bank Scam, to CBI custody till June 17.
Additional chief metropolitan magistrate D M Patel, remanded Shirish Manyar and Mukesh Babu, brought to the city on transit remand by the investigating agency, to five days remand.
Manyar and Mukesh, who run SBM Investments and Mukesh Babu Securities respectively, were arrested by CBI sleuths in Mumbai yesterday for their alleged involvement in the cooperative bank scam in which big bull Ketan Parekh is the main accused.
