V K Madhavankutty no more

New Delhi, Nov 01: Senior journalist V K
Madhavankutty, former editor of Malayalam daily Mathrubhumi
and founder director of satellite channel Asianet, died here
today following a massive heart attack.

Seventy one-year-old Madhavankutty breathed his last at
9.35 pm at escorts hospital, where he was put on ventilator
yesterday after a heart attack, sources said.

On Saturday, he was admitted to Sitaram hospital with
acute asthma and breathlessness. Madhavankutty was shifted to
escorts hospital yesterday.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
