Producer Nasir appears before police

Cuttack: Bollywood producer Nasir Khan
today appeared before the police in connection with Rs 500-
crore Balasore multi-level marketing scam on the direction of
the Orissa High Court.

Khan, the alleged kingpin of the fraud, and his
associate Sayeed Ahmed reported before the investigating
police officers.

A team of five crime branch sleuths interrogated the
duo throughout the day. The interrogation would continue till
Saturday.

Nasir is also scheduled to appear before Orissa High
Court on Friday in connection with his petition in which he
had urged for a direction to crime branch police which have
defreezed his bank accounts.

Police had interrogated Nasir and Sayeed for three
days last month.
