Pakistan is preparing to raise issue of US drone attacks at United Nations, after recommendation of the resolution adopted in the All-Parties Conference (APC) hosted by the government.

According to the Daily Times, speaking at the weekly briefing, Foreign Office Spokesman Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry said necessary directives have been issued to the country’s missions in New York and Geneva in this regard.

He rejected having signed any agreement with the United States on drone attacks.

He said Pakistan has a clear policy on drone attacks that these are violation of its territorial sovereignty and integrity, the report said.

He added that the drone attacks are violation of international laws, and Pakistan has been raising its concerns with United States at all levels in this regard.

He said the international community has also supported Pakistan’s stance on drone attacks, the report added.
