Police name Pakistani Taliban chief in FIR

Pakistani police on Saturday named Taliban chief Mullah Fazlullah and spokesman Shahidullah Shahid in FIR registered on killing of Chaudhry Aslam, one of country`s toughest anti-terror officials.

Karachi: Pakistani police on Saturday named Taliban chief Mullah Fazlullah and spokesman Shahidullah Shahid in an FIR registered on the killing of Chaudhry Aslam, one of the country`s toughest anti-terror officials.
The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan leaders were charged with murder and terrorism in the FIR lodged at a police station here following Aslam`s death in a suicide attack on Thursday.

The investigation into the attack claimed by the Pakistani Taliban is still in its early stages.
Two other policemen died in the attack.
Earlier, it was reported that the FIR was filed against "unidentified persons" under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
