Kathmandu: At least seven people, including three of a family, were killed when a house collapsed due to landslide following incessant rains in western Nepal early Friday, police said.
Four women and three girl children, aged between 2 and 8 years, were killed when the wall of their house collapsed due to the landslide in Jamune village of Tanahun district, District Police Office Tanhu said.
In a separate incident, three persons including a child went missing in Hatiya village of Baglung district in western Nepal when their house was swept away by a landslide.
Police said the search for the missing persons has been launched.
