Two Karnal students selected for NASA's summer camp

Karnal, Jan 02: Two girl students of Tagore Bal Niketan here
have been selected for a summer camp to be held at the National
Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the premier space
agency of the US.

Medhani Sarwal and Parul Sarwalia of class Xth and XIth
respectively would attend the camp from July 26 to August 7 this
year and will acquaint themselves with the working of the NASA.

Two students every year from 1998 onwards are selected for
summer camp at NASA from Tagore Bal Niketan, the alma mater of
Indo-American astronaut Kalpana Chawla, who was born and brought up
in Karnal.

Director of the school ms Vimla Raheja and Principal Rajan Lamba
congratuated the students on being selected for the camp at NASA.
