Andamans TC working chief resigns from post

Port Blair: Working president of Andaman
and Nicobar Islands Trinamool Congress Committee, Rupa Ray Wednesday tendered resignation from the post blaming the
party`s state unit chief for it.
Ray said that the president of TC Andaman and
Nicobar unit M R Bhakta had not allowed her to perform her
duty.

``He (Bhakta) has failed to make the grass root level
of T C strong in the Islands as he stays mostly in Kolkata,``
she said.
Ray is the wife of Andamans M P, B P Ray.
