Ghaziabad: BJP on Saturday staged a protest demanding a CBI probe to expose all those who "patronised" suspended Engineer-in-Chief of Noida Authority Yadav Singh.

The protest, held at the collectorate here, was led by BJP city president Ashok Monga.

A memorandum addressed in the name of Governor of Uttar Pradesh, was submitted to the District Magistrate Vimal Kumar Sharma.

"An?inquiry?must be conducted by?CBI to expose the politicians patronising Yadav Singh," Monga said here in his address to workers and office bearers of the party.

Yadav Singh was in the dock following income tax department raids and was suspended by the Uttar Pradesh government last December.

Monga alleged that Noida Authority has become a hub of corruption.

"The family members of those farmers could not get the jobs till today whose land had been acquired by the (Noida) authority," Monga said.

He alleged that Yadav's relatives are enjoying plum postings in Noida Authority.

The DM said the memorandum will be forwarded to the Governor's office in due course of time.
