London: An eight-year-old British girl has been shot dead in a "revenge" attack while on holiday in Jamaica, a media report said Sunday.
Imani Green from Balham, south London, was killed in Duncans town, the Telegraph reported.

She died after being shot twice, including once in the head, in what may have been a revenge attack.

The girl was with relatives at a cafe owned by her cousin when a gunman entered and opened fire following an argument.

Three others were injured in the shooting.

Police said the shooting was probably in reprisal for an earlier gun attack.

Imani arrived on the island with her mother shortly before New Year to stay with relatives.
