Top seed and defending champion John Isner reached his fourth Atlanta ATP final in five years on Saturday with a straight-sets victory over fellow American Jack Sock.
Isner, ranked 12th in the world, broke the unseeded Sock twice en route to a 7-5, 6-4 triumph in 97 minutes. He avenged a quarter-final loss to Sock at Newport a fortnight ago.
Isner now awaits the winner of Saturday`s second semi-final between Germany`s Benjamin Becker and Israeli Dudi Sela, who dispatched ninth-seeded American Sam Querrey and fourth-seeded Canadian Vasek Pospisil on his way to the semi-finals.
