Obama Europe trip aims to deepen Russia`s `isolation`

Washington: President Barack Obama will underscore Russia`s isolation over its annexation of the Crimea when he travels to Europe next week, US National Security Advisor Susan Rice said Friday.
"What will be clear for the entire world to see is that Russia is increasingly isolated and the United States is leading the international community in supporting the government of Ukraine and the people of Ukraine and the imposing costs on Russia," she said. Obama embarks Monday on a six day trip that will take him to The Hague for a nuclear security summit and a meeting of the G7, then to Brussels for a summit of European leaders and a meeting with the NATO secretary general.
From there, Obama goes to Rome and the Vatican where he will meet with Pope Francis before wrapping up the trip in Saudi Arabia. Rice said Obama would use the trip to mobilize the international community and US allies.
