Dallas: A birthday celebration turned deadly in US city of Dallas when a 21-year-old American ended shooting himself.
The 21st birthday of a man named Joseph Perez became his last day when he accidentaly shot himself, a news agency quoted the police as saying.
Doctors at Methodist Hospital declared him dead early Saturday.
According to police, Perez's family had earlier taken the gun from him, but Perez managed to re-grab the gun and an accidental shot ended his life.
As per a news agency that cited police spokeswoman Melinda Gutierrez, alcohol is believed to have factored into the shooting.
