New Delhi: The gorgeous Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan's love story was perhaps one of the most fairytale types we saw in our times. Yet not every story is meant to last and so it broke a million hearts when news of their separation hit the headlines. Fans were left shocked, sad and unhappy.

However, the best part about this couple happens to be the fact that the duo has always maintained a strong and healthy friendship which is why perhaps we still spot them at family lunches and parties. The two are blessed with a son named Arhaan Khan.

In an interview with DNA, Arbaaz talked about family, films and friends. He spoke his heart out about professional commitments and personal life as well. In the same interview, he was quizzed over his relationship status and he confessed that he dating a Romanian beauty named Alexandria, who is a friend yet feels there is a long way to go.

When he was asked about the lady, he said, “No, that’s another girl — Alexandria. That’s my friend. I am dating, yes. But we are not… As of now, there is still a long way to go.

He even talked about how he fell in love with Malaika at 26 and the two got married after dating for four years. On getting back with Malaika, he said, “I feel, if we had to get more time, we would have got back by now. The fact that we haven’t, means it is not meant to be. I wouldn’t want to speak for her. I kept my option open despite us parting ways, and I gave it a little time, whether it was a year or two years before I moved on in certain ways. Even as far as dating somebody is concerned. So I guess if that was to happen it would have happened in the first six months, or one year. It didn’t and it’s been almost three years now…”
