Thugs of Hindostan: Firangi aka Aamir Khan is your new guide on Google maps

New Delhi: If you use Google maps rigorously, you are most likely to find a new guide in your app for the next two weeks and he will be none other than Mr Perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan.

As a part of the promotional strategy, the makers have collaborated with Google maps.'

“As people gear up for Diwali and to watch ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’, we wanted to do our bit by making their driving journeys more fun and playful. We wish the movie all the success,” Neha Waikar, Product Manager, Google Maps, said in a statement. 

The option will be available in your Google Maps on Andriod or iOS phones to drive with Firangi aka Aamir Khan as your navigator.

The makers Yash Raj Films took their Twitter handle and shared the simple steps to activate the character. The tweet reads, “To activate #FirangiOnGoogleMaps, follow these simple steps on @googlemaps. So let’s “1,2,3… quick march”! | @aamirkhan | @GoogleIndia | @TOHTheFilm”

Once you activate the character, you will notice that the navigation arrow will be replaced with Aamir’s character from Thugs of Hindostan riding his pet donkey just the way he does in the film.
