Harbhajan Singh, Geeta Basra tie the knot in Jalandhar in traditional Punjabi wedding

The couple tied the knot in a traditional Punjabi wedding in Jalandhar.

New Delhi: Veteran Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh started a new innings today as he tied the nuptial knot with Bollywood actress Geeta Basra in Jalandhar.

Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar was present on the occasion along with wife Anjali.

While Geeta looked gorgeous in a traditional red and gold coloured lehenga, Harbhajan chose a red and white outfit for the occasion.

The mehandi was held on Monday and the sangeet ceremony took place on Tuesday with relatives and close friends being present during the auspicious occasion.

The wedding reception will be held in a five-star hotel in Delhi on November 1. Several celebrities from cricket and bollywood will attend the event.

Harbhajan, who was part of India's ODI squad which played against South Africa recently, had been dating the actress for the last few years.
