Having defeated the Antonio Conte's Azzurri the last two times, Vincent del Bosque's La Roja will look to complete the hat-trick tonight.

*Italy knocked out the reigning champions Spain. What a performance from Azzurri. Now Italy will play against Germany in the quarter-finals.  

*FULL TIME - ITALY 2-0 Spain.

*GOAL! ITALY 2-0 Spain. Pelle, drills home on the half-volley from the edge of the six-yard box! 

*Going by the records, Spain now have a best chance to score a goal as they have scored 16 goals in the last 10 minutes of European Championship games, more than any other side in the competition's history.

*First Half - As the first half comes to an end, one can easily say that Azzurri are in pole position to make their way into the next round. 2nd half is expected to be more thrilling. 

*Another world class save from David de Gea. Emanuele Giaccherini drills a shot towards the top corner before the De Gea intervenes. Third outstanding save by the ManU goalkeeper.
