WWE Raw Monday Night Results: New Day retains title; Braun Strowman defeats Curtis Axel

Triple Threat Tag Team Championship Match was between New Day, Shemaus-Cesaro and Gallows-Anderson.

New Delhi: On Monday Night Raw, a lot of action has been witnessed in the ring, including two important matches of the day - New Day retained their title by defeating Cesaro-Sheamus and Gallows-Anderson. They did put on a very good match but in the end were not good enough to take the gold from New Day.

In the second match of the day, Braun Strowman defeated Curtis Axel, while the third match between Ariya Daivari and Lince Dorado was interrupted by Jack Gallagher which was later ruled out as a no contest.

Match No.1 - Triple Threat Tag Team Championship Match between New Trade, Shemaus-Cesaro and Gallows-Anderson:

In the triple threat tag team match, the New Day retained their title, by defeating the team of Cesaro-Shemaus and Gallows-Anderson. Although they did put a good show, but still were good enough for the opponents.

Match No.2 - Braun Strowman defeated Curtis Axel in second match of the day.

In second match of the day Braun Strowman defeated Curtis Axel in what said to be to be a relatively short match. After the match when Byron Saxton was interviewing Strowman, he said a few unkind things about Sami Zayn.

Match No.3 - Ariya Daivari vs. Lince Dorado: Ruled out as no contest

The third match of the day between Ariya and Dorado was ruled out as no contest as Jack Gallagher interrupted the match, although in the middle of a match highlighting Team Red’s Cruiserweight Division, Gallagher did the 'gentlemanly' thing by announcing that he was interrupting the match before doing so.
