Sameer had said to Ashneer's sister, "Behen- tere bhai ne saara paisa chura liya" Sameer later deleted the post following criticism from LinkedIn users. He also apologised for his offensive remark against Ashneer.

Sameer told Ashneer Grover's sister in Hindi, “Tere bhai ne sara paisa chura liya.” Aashima and Sameer were replying to a post written by Karan Sarki. Grover also targeted BharatPe for its recent performance.
