The question paper had carried a comprehension passage with sentences like "emancipation of women destroyed the parent's authority over the children" and "it was only by accepting her husband's way that a mother could gain obedience over the younger ones", among others.

CBSE class 10, 12 exams to begin from March 9, postponed by a week due to assembly elections

The CBSE class X and class XII exams have been postponed in view of the upcoming assembly elections in five states. The CBSE class X and Class XII Board exams will now begin from March 9.
